The crickets and the rust beetles scuttled among the nettles of the sage thicket. ‘Vámonos, amigos,’ he whispered, and threw the busted leather flint craw over the loose weave of the saddle cock, and they rode on in the friscalating dusk light

As we grow up, we learn that even the one person that wasn’t supposed to ever let you down probably will. You will have your heart broken, probably more than once, and it’s harder every time. You’ll break hearts too, so remember how it felt when yours was broken. You’ll fight with your best friend, and you might even fall in love with them. You’ll blame a new love for things an old one did. You’ll cry because time is passing so fast, and you’ll eventually lose someone you love. So take too many pictures, laugh too hard, and love like you’ve never been hurt, because every minute you spend mad or upset is a minute of happiness that you’ll never get.

We used a spherical lens as a kind of control to look at depth of field and barrel distortion and the optical breathing you get when you rack from things really close to really far away,” Lasky continues. “It gave us a chance to have something tangible. We used an Arriflex camera with Panavision lenses. We looked at lens flares and how to focus lights in the background. There’s that shot in the truck [his home] when EVE’s looking at the lighter for the first time from WALL•E’s POV and you see the bouquet stretched in the background. And this is the kind of thing we discovered doing those tests.

You know, back in the Renaissance times, full-figured women were revered. It’s true. Artists would only paint big, voluptuous women. In fact, that’s how they got rid of a lot of their old paint.

We eat out about 85% of the time and basically keep only snacks at home. We have not missed the daily grind of cooking and cleaning up at all. People often ask us how we can afford to eat out so much, but after shifting our grocery and auto budgets over to the dining budget, we are still ahead financially. And what fun it has been to take in a football game and a great hamburger at this place, and enjoy a jazz trio and a fine wine at that place.

Default templates are terrific for people who can’t or don’t want to design their own — but they’re terrible starting points for anyone attempting to establish their own unique brand. If you start with nothing, you’re forced to think about everything.
