Ori­gins: I was born a few km north of Oporto, in a lit­tle fisherman’s town called Póvoa de Varzim. Attended a cou­ple of local high schools before grad­u­at­ing and mov­ing to the Azores to attend col­lege. That didn’t work out so well so a few months later I was back tend­ing bar and even­tu­ally enrolled in Biotech­nol­ogy in UAlg, which I haven’t fin­ished yet due to a few per­sonal dra­mas.

Life: I’m cur­rently in a rela­tion­ship, liv­ing in Leiria with the best canine com­pan­ion­ship one could ask for, Uva, a Fila de S. Miguel we got in Jan­u­ary 2009.

This site: I’ve owned the domain berlinde​.net for the longest time, but some­time around March 2007 decide it was time to make a few changes, and bought this domain and started a sort of tum­blelog. Though I went through a few hand-​​crafted thinga-​​majings to post on what­ever web­sites I had, I set­tled with Word­Press a long time ago and I haven’t looked back yet.
